The University of Zadar, the Institute of Croatian Language and Linguistics, The Croatian Language Technologies Society (HDJT), in cooperation with the German Linguistics Society (DGfS), and the University of Potsdam, are pleased to sponsor the inaugural meeting of the Workshop on Empirical and Computational Linguistics, related to the Jadertina Summer School in Empirical and Computational Linguistics held in Zadar, Croatia.
We will build on the topics in formal and computational linguistics, in particular on issues in learning, evolution, and computational aspects of language.
This workshop is especially intended to provide a forum for the presentation of unique and original research.
